Mountain Valley Lager

At 4.7% ABV and 30 IBU

This rustic amber lager is rich in malt character and easy to enjoy! This take on a traditional Franconian-lager style features local Maryland-grown barley by Bear Branch Malt. Creekside Pilsner

5.0% ABV 32 IBU

An ode to the original pale lagers of Czechia, Creekside Pilsner is a 12° pale golden lager (the Czech description for beer strength). Built for “drinkability” we used a complex, but traditional Bohemian double decoction mash that makes this beer light yet full bodied and rich in malt flavor. Malt and hop driven, it is unfiltered and naturally carbonated giving it a crisp yet smooth finish. 100% Maryland grown Barley from our friends at Bear Branch Malt, crisp Appalachian Mountain water, and lots of Czech Saaz hops. The Bear Branch malt gives it a complex maltiness balanced by a stiff but smooth bitterness from the Czech Saaz hops adding a classic floral and spicy aroma. This Mountain Maryland Pilsner comes from an admiration for traditional beers and the love we have for home here in the mountains alongside Evitt’s Creek, and we hope you’ll enjoy lots of it!

Strawberry Blueberry Sour Ale

5.0% ABV 15 IBU

Another fruity, tart, and sweet delight from the 1812 Brew Crew! Get ready to enjoy a delicious, highly drinkable new sour ale!

Strawberry Blonde Ale at 1912 Brewery.

Mexican Lager

This sessionable pale lager is made with North American malt, corn, and hops to give it a light and slightly sweet corn flavor with floral aromas. Delicious with or without a lime on the rim!

Resolute Pine IPA

6.5% 65 IBU

Our Take on a Classic West Coast IPA. This dry and refreshing ale lets the hops shine through with an aroma of citrus peel and dank nugs.

Blueberry Lemon Sour Ale at 1912 Brewery.

Bell Ringer NE IPA

Bell Ringer New England IPA bursting with fresh fruit notes of citrus, pineapple, and apricot.

Lil Darlin' Czech Dark Lager at 1912 Brewery.

National Pike Pilsner

Following the National Road, we’re heading west from Cumberland to the Golden State with this beer! Built on the classic backbone and brewing methods of a German-style pilsner, we took this brilliantly golden beer and added a classic American hop flair to it!

Balanced by a moderate ABV and subtle bitterness, this beer was dosed with a dry hop of Mosaic and Citra hops normally reserved for our West Coast IPAs. This hefty dry hop gives it clean notes of white peach, mango and ripe melon. This is the perfect marriage of a German pilsner’s drinkability, and a West Coast IPA’s hop forward aroma and flavor; you’ll want to be drinking this beer all year long!

A fresh take on craft beers

Don’t just take our word for it! Here’s what people have to say about our locally-made beers.

Wonderful brewery!
Great little brewery out in farm country. Nice atmosphere. Had a flight of beers that was excellent. I greatly recommend the citrus ones and the Queen City cream ale. There was a food truck in the back, definitely try the pretzels.

Great beer in a great space
We capped off a busy day of outdoor activity in Cumberland with a visit to 1812. It’s a farm brewery about 10 min off the highway. The space was really nice – a variety of indoor and outdoor seating, a taproom and space for a food truck, and an outdoor stage and seating area for live music.

We’d certainly return if we are back in the area.

Such a hidden gem!
To me, this is a perfect place to spend a summer evening – cold beer, good food, and enjoyable music in the beer garden. Can't wait to go back!
